Hello and welcome my lovely readers! I’m sure you’re out there being awesome. Just to add a little more awesomeness to the already awesome world(I’m kidding, the world ain’t awesome, but you are, and y’all my world so same thing) here’s a little poem written the other night. I was inspired to write this by the words of someone very special and wise.

I wanna look back with pride
I wanna soar high and fly
I wanna touch the stars and
I’m gonna give it all tonight

Running and falling and
Trying and hiding
Everything that’s scary
Is worth having

Conventions don’t define me
My attitude does
Whether I play rugby
Or go a ballet class

Hit me with glass shards
And they’ll be broken
I don’t play the victim card
‘Cause I’m a Princess diamond

I don’t seek no glass thrones
They don’t give me happiness
And none of your gemstones
Couldn’t care about them less

I’m gonna give it all tonight
I wanna soar high and fly
